Murray Downs Golf & Country Club has a proud history of supporting local community groups including sporting organisations and charities.

For many years the Club has been the major sponsor of the local tennis club and major supporter of the Country Week Tennis and continues in this role.

The Club is the major sponsor of the Swan Hill Cricket association and supports many other local sporting organisations like the Swan Hill Jockey Club, June Racing Carnival, Swan Hill Tennis Club and many local football and netball clubs.

Proudly, the Club is the major sponsor of the Swan Hill Neighbourhood House Community Transport Car that is used to help transport local community members, who do not have access to transport, to medical appointments both locally and as far away as Bendigo and Melbourne.
